DAN BUGDEN
After a struggling round and completing a few charity runs in my 20’s, my enjoyment of running started from running parkrun in 2010. From the 5k distance, I have gone on to complete more challenges including: a 24 hour team race, 3 Brighton Marathons and a 33 Mile Ultra Marathon. My main aim was always to complete London Marathon which I am scheduled to do in 2019! I joined Runways just after it started in 2017 and it is great to see how it has grown and how friendly everyone is. I enjoy the social side and you’ll be very likely to see me at the regular quiz nights! By day I am a Health and Safety adviser so please do not forget your Hi Vis!
HELEN HARPER-COLLINS
Hi, I’m Helen. I wasn’t into sports when I was younger, but I took up running a few years ago shortly after I started working from home. I joined Biggin Runways when I wanted to train further and set myself new challenges. I love the social focus of this club, and helping to get more and more people just like me to discover running and all the benefits it brings. When I’m not busy running the club with Simon and Dan, I run a Freelance graphic design business.
